Everyone, please read this very important book called "Slavery by Another Name" by Douglass A Blackmon. This is a must read! This book is true infact, I have an ancestor who he discusses in detail name "Starr" which is my mother's maiden name. It discusses how Black Men were picked up for ridiculous reasons, incarcerated and sold off to various places such as farms, plantations, factories, steel mills, etc., to work off their debt which was paid directly to the police departments and Caucasian city counsel members. I am elated to read and be educated about this historical bit on minorities being treated differently in America. It has been going on too long and I will not stand for anything less than equal rights and fairness as any Caucasian American and I demand a change in America where American Black Men, Women, Boys & Girls are no longer racially profiled due to the color of their skin by anyone! I am standing with my feet planted to the ground and demand change now, here in America.

Maybe you need to do your home work instead of sounding ignorant to make your point Markavazquez. As a retailer-owned cooperative, Ace Hardware is wholly owned by its independently operated store owners. No shares of stock in the corporation are publicly traded. Rather, when retailers affiliate with Ace, they purchase shares of company stock, which gives them voting rights in the cooperative.
